Here’s a preview of things I’m excited to post very soon. This past week has been one of the most diverse shooting weeks I’ve done from weddings and a cool prenup, to a product shoot and something new for me which is a motherhood shoot. I sometimes prefer shooting consecutive days since its keeps me sharp and “in the zone” when it comes to shooting.

I started shooting last weekend and I had two lovely weddings.

Chito and Aileen, Last Saturday

DK and Precy, Last Sunday

Then came monday.  Michi Calica, gown and accessories designer and our building neighbor at Oasis asked me if I can shoot some of here new designs.

The next day I shot one my best buddies, Wally and his fiance, Geann. I was really excited for this shoot because I thought of this quirky cool concept. I’ll keep you hanging for now until I post the full set.

Today, I shot my friends Ricardo and Len who’s expecting a baby.

The Wannabes

October 22, 2008

At Imagine Nation, we love to have fun. I believe that’s one of the reasons why couples love to work with us since we always inject a lot of fun and humor while we shoot them. Last monday, we were all just hanging out at our studio. Erron was directing a video shoot for a client…so we decided to test the video set-up by coming up with this video…check it out!

The original video’s still not with me but this is my copy shot from my Nokia N70 and I edited in Imovie.

September was a crazy month for me with shoots here and there so expect more posts to come. This was the third straight day I was shooting but this was one of my most anticipated wedding for the this year. Steve and Ross booked me over a year ago when I was just starting in Imagine Nation. I was really honored for putting their trust in me though I was just new.

Through time we became close and became friends and we had such a great time shooting their prenup/engagement shoot. Definitely one of my best shoots for this year.

Our Images have been chosen to be featured in the upcoming W@W 2009 calendar. Along with Jason De Guzman , the shots we submitted were chosen by W@W for next year’s  theme “Happy Happy” and “Happy Tears.”

W@W or weddingsatwork.com is a major online wedding resource for couples where one can find anything about weddings for those getting married. They come out with an annual calendar where they feature photographers. Check the site out!

This is just a wonderful and unexpected blessing from God and I would just like to give praise and thanks to him. They are still in the process of finalizing which image (two actually) that they will feature but I’d like to share the images they are considering. Tell me what you like :)

Dennis and Rhea. One of my favorite couples, they even visited me when I was hospitalized after their wedding, here’s more about this story. Also, they entered their prenup/engagement set that I shot and they won in the Coffee Bean Story in the photo category, read it here.

Ron and Sussie. One of the most “tearful” weddings I’ve shot.

My friend and funny man, Oneal who I shot in Naga. Here’s their set.

Jumping bride Leah. One of the wackiest couple’s I’ve ever shot. Here’s their onsite slideshow.

After Vincent and Jessica’s Wedding, Jayjay and I headed to Tagaytay for another memorable wedding. Shooting in Tagaytay will always be special for me since this was the first wedding I shot as a volunteer assistant/apprentice to our mentor John Mateos Ong.

It was our first time to shoot at Casablanca for the preps and reception and we all had praises for the venue. Its really lovely with a view of Tagaytay volcano. I would recommend couples to consider this place if they plan to get married in Tagaytay.
